Thurston County Public Health and Social Services (PHSS) will permanently close their COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Capital Mall in Olympia. The last day of operations for the Capital Mall clinic is Sunday, June 26, 2022. Public Health and Social Services will continue to provide mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics throughout Thurston County – in partnership with local health care providers, schools, churches, non-profit organizations, and other businesses – through December 2022.

Public Health and Social Services will announce upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinics on their website, and through social media channels. If your organization is interesting in hosting a mobile vaccine clinic, please contact PHSS at 360.867.2610.

Many pharmacies and health care facilities in Thurston County will continue to offer COVID-19 vaccines at no cost. Anyone looking for a COVID-19 vaccine near them can contact their health care provider or use the Washington State Department of Health Vaccine Locator tool.

The COVID-19 clinic at Capital Mall began as an outdoor mobile pop-up site three days a week in May 2021, and then moved to an indoor storefront on June 16, 2021 offering COVID-19 vaccines seven days a week. In total, PHSS administered more than 31,000 COVID-19 vaccines over the course of nearly 500 clinics at the mall clinic.
