Beginning Monday, August 30, the Thurston County Building and Development Center (BDC) is modifying operational hours due to unforeseen staffing circumstances. The BDC will operate under restricted hours for two weeks and expects to return to its regular operation hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, September 13. Should the modified schedule need to be extended, the county will notify residents through the BDC website and Thurston County social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter).
The BDC will operate under the following temporary weekly schedule Monday, August 30 through Friday, September 10:
- Monday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Tuesday: Closed
- Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday: Closed
- Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Residents will continue to have access our services online, by phone, by email, or by using a drop box located outside of Building 1. For more information on submitting permits please visit the Building Development Center website.
We hope to return to our regular schedule as soon after the two weeks as possible. Please check the BDC website for updates.
