Kristen Rubis, executive director of Empowerment 4 Girls, is excited to see the community come out and support this event and raise funds for the organization’s operations and scholarships. “We just received our official 501(c)3 nonprofit status and are so excited to celebrate with the community that has supported us. The nonprofit status means that event tickets and all donations are tax deductible.” she stated. “The Olympia community is incredible and we are thrilled to feature so many local businesses through our auction. People donate their goods and services to help empower girls and it is an honor to be part of this movement towards equality for all. Participating in the auction means that you support local businesses, bask in the self-care provided by those goods and services and help support the empowerment of girls in our community”
