We’re back in the full swing of regular weekend events. The calendar is no longer full of bazaars and holiday gatherings. Instead, we’re looking at fitness classes and introductory lessons. New events are kicking off this weekend and you have a chance to use our packed event calendar to find a new hobby or rekindle an interest in a previous activity. Go for it!
- Learn more about the Master Gardener program through Thurston County WSU Extension. Info session is slated for Friday at 4:30 p.m.
- Try a salsa class on Friday night.
- Tap your foot to live jazz at the Minnaert Center on Friday evening. Tickets are available by clicking here.
- Listen to a National Geographic photographer speak at The Washington Center on Friday night.
- Take a step towards getting your FCC Marine Operator permit at a class at Westport Winery on Saturday.
- Sign up your child for Capitol Little League baseball throughout the day on Saturday.
- Check out a new running group. Info session is being held on Saturday.
- Support students during a robotics tournament on Saturday.
- Plant trees at Woodland Creek Community Park on Saturday.
- Drop off the kids at the Hands On Children’s Museum on Saturday night and enjoy a date night.
- Bounce on Sunday at Alley Oop Gymnastics.
- Take a guided walking tour, free with your paid park admission, at Wolf Haven on Saturday and Sunday.
