Northwest Extreme Winged Sprint teams looking to get their adrenaline rush fix this weekend but not sure where to go? How about tearing up some clay at the heart stopping, jaw dropping 3/8-mile clay oval known as Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma. Well there are several more reasons to head to Grays Harbor Raceway this weekend because not only will they be battling it out on the race track on Saturday October 5 but they also will be eligible for giveaway prizes.
Those giveaway prizes range from a Joe’s Racing Products stop watch to a dyno session with Richmond Engines. A list of all prize giveaways will be provided below this release. We would like to thank Joe’s Racing Products, Richmond Engines, and Barry Martinez with Speedmart Inc. for donating these fantastic prizes.
There have been a total of four Northwest Extreme Winged Sprint races to occur at GHR since 2012 producing three different winners. Kenny Rutz, who swept the NEWS portion of the Harbor Classic Weekend this year, has recorded two victories this year while Sam Wright and Jesse Thistle have graced victory lane on just one occasion.
Details pertaining to eligibility requirements for each prize will be release soon so stay tuned on the website. Also even more prizes will be added to this weekend’s event. So if you’re looking for some fast action and great side by side racing make your way to Grays Harbor Raceway this Saturday October 5.
The Grays Harbor Raceway is known for its high speeds and side by side racing as well as its large track size. Hosting racing action from April to October regular classes include 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, USAC Ford Focus Midgets, Street Stocks, Hornets, and for the first time the Northwest Extreme Winged Sprint Car Series. Special events include visits by the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series and American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region.
