Xerox is one of the largest employers in the area and is looking for qualified people to join the team!
Danny Tillman, Workforce Manager started with Xerox as a customer service rep and enjoyed his time on the phones. “I have been with the company since I was 18 and have learned a lot about business management. Xerox is an amazing place to work and there many avenues of advancements for all sorts of people.”
This time of year, the recruiting team at Xerox is hard at work. Taryn Loftness, recruiter in Lacey states, “It is a challenge to compete with the summer Sun but we in the recruiting department are excited to help connect people to a job that has lots of growth potential.”
On Wednesday, August 8th we are hosting a hiring event from 12-6. The community is invited to meet a team of recruiters who are excited to get people rolling in a new career and enjoy refreshments in the front lobby!
The Xerox location in Lacey is full of activities that make the work environment a fun and fulfilling place. Weekly, venders visit the site and share their great food. We see Happy Teriyaki every Wednesday in addition to California Tacos, Vantes’ sells hotdogs, hamburgers and pulled pork sandwiches throughout the week. There are theme days throughout the month that add humor to the workplace.
Brandy Nelson, receptionist organizes the theme days and describes her favorite day, “I really liked slipper day because it made work very comfortable. It was fun to leave my heels at home and wear my fuzzy slippers.” April Elias, recruiter loves theme days as well. She goes all out in participation and states, “my favorite day was crazy hair day. I had so much fun coming up with an amazing head of hair and used a whole can of hairspray.”
