A “how-to” program designed for Vietnamese or English speakers.

As most U.S. citizens know, the “land of the free and home of the brave” can be a little difficult to figure out sometimes, especially when it comes to dealing with governmental regulations and processes. English and Vietnamese speakers can find help at this bilingual workshop designed for people seeking United States citizenship. It will be held at the Lacey Timberland Library, Saturday, September 12 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Instructor Mai Hoa Nguyen will help people fill out their naturalization applications (Form N-400) and prepare for the citizenship test.  Participants must bring their Permanent Resident cards (commonly called the “green card”) and their Social Security cards.
