The 7th NTPS College and Career Fair is being hosted by Timberline High School on Monday, October 19th. It is open to the public and we encourage students and their parents to attend. All ages are welcome. The fair has over 100 participants including all Washington State Colleges/Universities, Washington State private universities, numerous out-of-state colleges, 2 year, technical and apprenticeship trades.
Local organizations that offer scholarships will be available to tell students about their scholarships and how to apply. There will be 10 plus organizations looking for student volunteers. This is a great opportunity for students to find where they want to volunteer.
- New this year: Boeing and local businesses that offer career opportunities. Students and parents will have the opportunity to explore the WOIS website.
- The fair begins at 5:00 p.m. with “How to Navigate the College Fair” in the Timberline theatre.
- Doors to the fair open at 5:30.
- Additional workshops: ROTC, Transition workshop for individuals with IEP’s and How to Finance Your Education at the end of the fair.
- Overflow parking is available across the street at Lakes Elementary. The Timberline Concession stand will be open for dinner and snacks.
