Lacey Seeks Feedback on Community Participation Plan

The City of Lacey (City) seeks input on a draft Community Participation Plan (CPP), part of the process of becoming a federally designated Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) entitlement community. The public review and comment period is open from December 5, 2024, to January 5, 2025, at 5 p.m.

The CPP explains how the public can get involved and provide feedback on planning and programs for the CDBG and HOME programs.

Community members can review the document:

    Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Background

As a federally designated CDBG entitlement community, the City will receive funding directly from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development annually. This program helps fund projects that support affordable housing, improve neighborhoods, boost the local economy, and enhance community facilities and services.
