There is nothing Pacific Northwesterners like better than a big party with beer! So…it’s time to dust off your lederhosen and practice the Chicken Dance! Hoh River Brewing will be celebrating 2021 Oktoberfest in Tumwater with a special beer release mid-September. The Oktoberfest special brew is a full-bodied 6.5% lager. “Brewed with generous amounts of Munich, Marris Otter and Carra-Red malts and for our aroma hops we used Czech Saaz and Tettnanger hops,” shares John Christopherson of Hoh River Brewing. “We were very fortunate to have two well-known local brewers, displaced from the closure of Olympia’s Fish Brewery, come over and brew our Oktoberfest.” Follow Hoh River Brewing on Facebook for updates.
