Halpin obtained his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago IL in 2004, and completed his internship and residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 2011, where he received the Susan Perlman award for academic excellence, special leadership skills and compassion for patients.
Halpin is board certified in Neurological Surgery and has advanced training in complex spinal deformity and minimally invasive spine surgery. With experience in treating spinal deformity and brain tumors, his specialties include gamma knife radiosurgery, minimally invasive spinal surgery, revision spinal surgery, and general neurosurgery.
