We think working for ThurstonTalk.com is not only fun, but an outstanding example of the impact of meaningful leadership, progressive organizational structure and dedication to team members – and we aren’t the only ones!

While the Lacey South Sound Chamber of Commerce supports local businesses throughout the year, many of those businesses especially look forward to the chamber’s annual “Business Awards.” This year’s event took place on February 7, 2018 at Saint Martin’s University. With great honor, ThurstonTalk.com is proud to have been awarded the 2018 Workplace Excellence award.

The event strives to recognize and celebrate local businesses and organizations for their achievements, community contributions and milestones. Nominations come from within the community and winners are announced at the ceremony. Here are the businesses who received awards for 2018:

Workplace Excellence: ThurstonTalk.com
Think Chamber First: Cabinets by Trivonna
Community Service: TwinStar Credit Union
Military Community Support: Patriots Landing
Entrepreneur of the Year: The In Team
Business of the Year: Budd Bay Promotions

The event also included networking between local businesses, remarks from City of Lacey Mayor Andy Ryder and Awards Committee Chair Grace Kendall of FastSigns and a catered meal. Jerry Farmer of 94.5 Roxy and Janine Ezzell of Chicago Title guided the event as the Masters of Ceremonies, filling the room with laughter and a strong sense of community.

We at ThurstonTalk.com deeply appreciate this honor and want to say thank you to the Lacey South Sound Chamber as well as our local supporters and customers. Congratulations to not only the award recipients but all the nominees as well! We are grateful to part of such vibrant, passionate and supportive community.
