Ride to Lakefair
Hop transit to Lakefair activity this week and get to the heart of the action without traffic and parking headaches. Intercity Transit provides frequent service to Capital Lakefair, July 17-21. Service operates every 15 to 60 minutes (depending on location) from Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, and Yelm and drops festival attendees off near event activity.
Transit Detours During Lakefair
Transit service in downtown Olympia will be impacted Saturday, July 20, due to Lakefair-related road closures.
- On Saturday, July 20, west Olympia routes 43 and 44 traveling to downtown Olympia from the County Courthouse will use I-5 instead of Deschutes Parkway all day. From 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., routes 12, 13, 68, and 620 will use Plum Street instead of Capitol Way and the Dash shuttle will use Jefferson instead of Capitol Way between Maple Park Avenue and Olympia Avenue.
