Local writer Keith Eisner quotes the historian Henry Louis Gates, Jr. about writing memoirs: “Be prepared for the revelation of things you don’t even dream.” Eisner will present three workshops on writing memoirs at the Lacey Timberland Library. The workshops will include discussions about turning memories into stories, and a series of low-stress, invigorating writing exercises.
“No one will be required to read aloud,” Eisner promised, “so bring a pen and notebook and be ready to rock!”
