Winter Coat Giveaway

The South Sound community rallied together to offer a winter coat giveaway to very low-income youth at a HUD housing complex in Olympia.

TOGETHER! will host a winter coat giveaway at Evergreen Villages Community Center this Thursday. With a generous donation from Everest Construction & Consulting LLC and deep discounts, tax exemption and coordination from the Olympia Target, we are excited to provide at least 50 youth residents with coats to keep them warm this winter. Members of the media are warmly invited to attend the giveaway.

Evergreen Villages Community Center is on the west side of Olympia in a 180-unit, federally subsidized low-income apartment complex. It is operated by TOGETHER!, a community-based nonprofit who engages and mobilizes families, schools and the community to advance the health, safety and success of our youth.
