DERT will be hosting a king tide walk the morning of Friday January 25th! Join us for a coffee and a walk along the boardwalk to the 5th avenue dam to visualize sea level rise predictions, learn about the dam, and walk part of the historic Deschutes/Steh-Chass estuary shoreline. We will meet at 8:15 am. for a brief at Traditions Cafe then proceed on our walk. High tide is at 9:09. See you bright and early! Family friendly. Free. Wheelchair accessible, though navigating along boardwalk may be slightly uneven.
