We’ve been thinking about the quality of being unhurried. There’s a lot of pressure to get a move on in life, but the best craftsmanship and the wiser life choices are made when we’re able to pause and reflect. This is an experiment in hosting conversations designed to have a gentler pace, fewer interruptions and a more reflective spirit.

In an unhurried conversation, there is time to think differently and connect with people in a refreshing way. Unhurried isn’t always slow, but it has a pace where people find it easy to join in and not feel crowded out. And listening can be as satisfying as talking.
