Tumwater Brewery District Plan Open House and Public Hearing

An open house and public hearing are scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2014, to review and comment on the City’s draft Brewery District Plan.   Ask questions and get detailed answers about site design, transportation, access and other topics of interest at the open house which starts at 5:30 p.m.  Offer public comment to the Tumwater City Council and Planning Commission at the public hearing, beginning at 7:00 p.m.  The Brewery District Plan examines the character and potential for the 300-acre area surrounding the former Tumwater Brewery. The City has been working with land owners, businesses, residents and other stakeholders to develop the plan which contains a long range vision for the District, and an action plan for bringing that vision to life in the coming years.
