Frustrated with the limitations of speaking on Zoom? Wish you knew how to be more effective as a virtual speaker? Join us for a presentation by Distinguished Toastmaster Lindy MacLaine, second-runner-up in the 2020 first ever Virtual Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking.

Come away with an understanding of why virtual speaking is here to stay, which camera mistakes to avoid like the plague, and the surprising secret to tapping your power as a virtual speaker.

This Toastmasters Meeting will highlight our honored guest, Lindy MacLaine, as she presents a 30-minute brief training with break-out rooms for participants to engage in activities. This meeting is free and open to the public. After the official meeting concludes, participants are welcome to stay on the Zoom call to ask questions and learn more about Jefferson Speakers Toastmasters.

About our Guest Speaker:
Lindy MacLaine, DTM joined Toastmasters in 2016, seeking leadership training. Since then, she has joyfully mined the powerful secrets of how to craft a winning speech. When COVID hit and the International Speech Contest went online, her past stage and film acting training equipped her to successfully transition to on-camera speaking. She garnered the coveted position of Second-Runner-Up in the 2020 first ever Virtual Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking.
