Featuring Gabriela Joya
Gabriela is a Cuban professional flute player and vocalist who graduated from the most prestigious Cuban music schools followed by 10 years of professional experience. Gabriela has worked teaching flute, piano and voice at Guillermo Tomas Conservatory in Havana Cuba. She was the flautist and piccolo player for the National Concert Band of Cuba and for the past 3 years she performed with the Cuban national Ballet and Opera. Gabriela has also collaborated, recorded and toured in venues and festivals with several bands of traditional Cuban music. She is a young musician on her way to develop her own style between classical and popular Cuban music.
