GRuB is hosting a Summer Carnival and Outdoor Movie Night on Thursday, August 29th at 6:30pm to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of their Kitchen Garden Project, which builds free backyard vegetable gardens for low-income families in South Puget Sound.
There will be old-fashioned carnival games and performers, face-painting, raffles, a Produce Swap, food carts, and an outdoor screening of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit at dusk. Admission is Free, although donations are very welcome and anyone who donates $20 receives a “Let’s Beet Hunger” bumper sticker!
