StoryOly is Olympia’s Premiere Story Slam Event, holding Story Slams every third Tuesday of the month at Rhythm & Rye.
Everyone has a holiday story. I know that holidays are a particualry favorite storytelling time for my family. We re-hash old stories of who ate the last piece of pumpkin pie or the worst gifts we got from that one ex boyfriend like they happened just the other day!
For our December Story Slam we want to hear YOUR holiday stories. Don’t think they have to be Christmas exclusive. We want to hear your Kwanzaa, Thanksgiving, Festivus, Hanukkah, Saint Lucia, Ramadan, etc! The more diverse the better.
Tickets go on sale at the door of Rhythm & Rye at 5:30pm. StoryOly events are always “Pay What You Can” with a suggested donation of 5-10$
As always, half of all event ticket sales are donated to Olympia SafePlace.
