For our August Story Slam we want to hear stories with the theme of “Revenge”
Revenge can mean a lot of things. The stories we are looking for don’t even have to be an actual taking of revenge. Have you ever felt vengeful? Have you ever plotted revenge just to back out at the last minute? Did you ever fantasize about taking revenge only to interact with those who hurt you and suddenly the anger evaporates? Have you ever “Killed them with kindness”? We want to hear about it!
StoryOly is Olympia’s premiere Story Slam event. Similar to podcasts such as The Moth, Risk!, and Snap Judgement, community members come together every month to share stories based on a theme. StoryOly aims to encourage and develop community engagement and connection through the medium of storytelling.
Doors Open at 5:30, Show starts at 6pm.
Tickets are pay what you can with a suggested donation of $5-10. Half of all ticket sales are donated to Olympia SafePlace.
