St. John’s, which long has supported jazz both in worship services and the Concert Series, will present a select group of artists as we introduce a cabaret-style event at 7 pm Friday evening, October 14, in the parish hall. Well-known Olympians LaVon Hardison, vocals; Joe Baque, legendary pianist, and Steve Luceno, bass, will open.    Our special guest will be Dave Peck, Seattle-based pianist who has garnered mutliple awards while recording numerous CDs.   He is the son of our parishioner, Bob Peck.

Admission is by $30 ticket, which includes a three-course dinner and the first glass of wine.  Tickets are limited and can be purchased only at Traditions, 300 Fifth Ave. SW, downtown.   (360) 705-2819.
