This social, family-friendly class gets your body and mind moving in a fun atmosphere. By the end of ten weeks you will have learned the basics of modern square dancing – the same moves used in thousands of square dance club dances and dance events you can visit throughout the world. You’ll be dancing at the very first lesson – learning the moves while enjoying many different types of music including rock and roll, country and pop. Couples, families and singles are all welcome, but bring a partner if you can. We like to say that square dancing is “Fun and friendship set to music.” First lesson is Monday, October 21, 6:30 p.m. At Lac-A-Do Hall, 1721 46th AVE NE, Olympia. Sponsored by Olympia Area Square Dancers. For more information call Ed at 352-2662 or Nancy at 438-1284. Web: www.OlympiaSquareDance.com.
