The Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program is open to youth aged 12 through 18. Additionally, there are volunteer opportunities for adults, pilots and non-pilots alike.

The Washington Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, has squadrons statewide comprised of over 1,300 senior members and cadets, with aircraft and vehicles throughout the state. These assets are available to federal, state and county governments, emergency responders and law enforcement agencies to perform search and rescue, homeland security, disaster relief, humanitarian assistance and counter-drug missions.
