Explore the 20 year history of the Kennedy Creek Salmon Trail and the complexity of local salmon habitat restoration with Jerilyn Wally and Lance Winecka of the South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group (SPSSEG). Jerilyn Walley, Salmon Habitat Restoration Biologist/Project Manager, works towards restoration of salmonid habitat focusing on Watershed Resource Inventory Area 13–the Deschutes. Lance Winecka, Executive Director, has worked for SPSSEG since 2001 and has overseen over 100 on-the-ground restoration projects. Curious about science? Come join us! A local scientist will present and answer questions about a different science topic each month.
