Elliot Claveau from the University of Washington will present a talk on the Flow Z-Pinch Experiments, an application of plasma, the fourth state of matter. Plasma essentially is a very hot ionized gas that makes up the sun and most of the universe. Curious about science? Come join us! A local scientist will present and answer questions about a different science topic each month. Speakers and topics will vary.
