The Celtic tradition embraces a deep connection to the rhythms of the natural world. The constant shifting and unfolding of the seasons offers invitations to attune our inner landscape to the world around us and receive both its gifts and challenges. Through this dynamic interaction with natural rhythms, we become more attuned to ourselves.
In this overnight workshop, beginning at 4:00 pm Friday, October 22 and ending at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 23 participants will learn more about the Solstices and Equinoxes, as well as the Celtic cross-quarter days. Through a variety of spiritual practices, all will engage the invitations of those sacred times and reflect on their own spiritual connection with the more than human world and the divine at the heart of all things.
Retreat Leader, Kara Markell, has studied and practiced Celtic Spirituality for many years. She is the faith leader of a Christian congregation and leader of a Wild Church group in Kirkland, WA. Kara is an experienced teacher and retreat leader. Her own spiritual life is deeply connected with nature and she loves to share that with others.
If you desire a deeper connection with nature or are seeking new inspiration and practices that you can engage with throughout the year, this inter-spiritual gathering is for you.
$150 retreat fee includes three meals, a private sleeping room with shared bathrooms down the hall, and workshop materials and presentations by Retreat Leader, Kara Markell.
