Rummage sale to benefit Thurston County 4H Horse program:
Multiple 4H families are having a rummage sale, bake sale and “4H in Action” demonstration to benefit the Thurston County 4H Horse Program this Saturday, May 11, from 8am-1pm.

The sale is at Peter G Schmidt Elementary School parking lot, right off Capitol Way, across the street from Tumwater Dairy Queen.

There’s plenty of parking, and it will be a fresh spring morning – come out to meet Jazzy, arguably Thurston County’s nicest pony, and try your hand at roping a steer head! Trot on over for a cookie and some coffee.

Lots of family treasures are waiting for you including: two 20” TVs, books, CDs, children’s games and toys, a few children’s costumes, some horse tack (including Western and English saddles, little kid cowboy boots), holiday decorations, knick-knacks and many other valuables. All proceeds go to this youth program!!
