Rainier Ringers Handbell Concert – Growing Up With Christmas

The Rainier Ringers Community Handbell Ensemble presents their Christmas concert “Growing up with Christmas”. The music selection features three different views of Christmas we might have as we grow up. As a child, many of us enjoyed (or still enjoy) animated TV shows like “A Charlie Brown Christmas” or “The Year Without a Santa Claus”. As we grew older, Christmas may have had more of a romantic focus, giving the perfect gift to the one you love or enjoying a sleigh ride with that person. And eventually we come to realize the true meaning of Christmas.

Our selections include songs from each of these three phases including “Welcome Christmas” from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, “Last Christmas” from the group Wham, “O Holy Night” and Mannheim Steamroller’s version of “Angels We Have Heard on High”. Bring the whole family!
