Fresh from a four-month, nationwide book tour, author Peter McCoy will discuss his book, “Radical Mycology,” at the Olympia Timberland Library, Wednesday, November 30 from 7:30-8:45 p.m.
Publisher Chthaeus Press calls it “one of the most comprehensive books on mycology—the science of fungi—ever published.”
McCoy founded the grassroots organization, “Radical Mycology,” in 2006 to increase awareness of fungi as an important element for increasing personal, societal and ecological health. In his new book of the same name, he shares the knowledge, wisdom and outcomes gleaned from his organization’s international work, advancing the science of applied mycology.
This program occurs after regular library hours; no other library services will be available. Guests will be able to purchase copies of the book at this event.
