Pound for Pound 5k Race

For this 5K Race, each runner will weigh in with all the gear they plan to run in. After they finish the race, we will then take their weight and divide it by their final race time to find out each racer’s PFP #. This number is a measure of power production. In turn meaning the racer with the largest PFP # has produced the most power and will be crowned our winner!

For years, I have taken part in races that never seem to recognize the accomplishment of moving my 250lb frame at an 8 minute mile and this race has the goal of doing just that. For all of you athletes, BIG and small, this race celebrates the athlete that can most efficiently and powerfully move their mass!
