Olympia Downtown Spring Clean Up

The objective for the Olympia Downtown Association’s Downtown Clean Up event is to clean up downtown Olympia before the semi-annual Arts Walk event organized by the City of Olympia and held every April and October.

The Clean Up event is a great community builder giving business owners & employees, religious groups, private individuals, state, county and city government employees the opportunity to invest in their downtown working together and participating in cleaning activities such as picking up litter, sweeping sidewalks & parking lots, weeding, pruning and sometimes painting

As a thank you to all of our volunteers we provide fresh brewed coffee and donuts in the morning before the volunteers begin the clean up duties. At noon when everyone is done working we provide a BBQ lunch catered by one of our local restaurants in addition to providing them with a cold beverage.
