It’s the 15th annual Olympia Comics Festival; the South Sound’s premier event spotlighting alternative, small-press, creator-owned, arts-for-art’s-sake comics!
The event is split into three portions, 11 am – 1 pm: Stage Show @ Capitol Theater – ticket price $6; 1:30 – 6:30 pm: Cartoonists Expo @ Olympia Center – FREE (though fair warning, you’ll probably end up buying comics); and 6 – 8 pm: Signings at Danger Room Comics by Guests Of Honor, comic book artists/writers Farel Dalrymple (Wrenchies, Prophet), Jason Little (Motel Art Improvement Service, Shutterbug Follies) and Eric Shanower (Age Of Bronze, Oz)!
