TWITCHING JIGS FOR SALMON IN THE CHEHALIS RIVER SYSTEM

The public is invited to the October 23rd meeting of the Olympia Chapter of Trout Unlimited for a presentation by Bill “Swanny” Swann on “Twitching Jigs for Salmon In the Chehalis River System”. Refreshments will be provided and an outstanding fishing equipment raffle will be conducted at the end of his presentation.

The Chehalis River System is one of the largest tributaries that flow into the Pacific Ocean. There are Kings, Coho, and chum Salmon that return as well as Sea run cutthroat, and Steelhead.  Swanny’s hands on presentation will cover all the key points you will need to know for this fishing technique, from rod set up, to proper line, and using the right jigs to fill your daily bag limits.
