Nordic Herding Calls, Songs and Stories

Olympia’s Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd is offering a free community concert on Sunday August 22, at 1601 North Street, across from Oly High School. Guest Peggy Larson will perform at 11 a.m. on our outdoor stage under a beautiful canopy of tall firs. Peggy will present a delightful show of Nordic herding calls, songs and stories from a longtime Norwegian tradition that dates to at least the Middle Ages. She is the author of Sing ‘Til the Cows Come Home.
All are welcome and are encouraged to bring chairs if you have them. Good Shepherd follows COVID safety protocols for masking and social distancing.
