Work alongside other trail supporters and help spread wood chips, pull weeds and invasive plants, and conduct basic trail maintenance in Woodland Creek Community Park in Lacey and earn a free ticket to a BBQ lunch. After the work party, volunteer workers will enjoy a BBQ lunch provided by Alpine Experience, 408 Olympia Ave NE, Olympia during the Mountain Life Festival, June 1, 2 to 7 p.m. Volunteers need to pre-registered before Friday, May 24 to ensure your place at the BBQ!

Individuals, families, or groups are welcome. Pre-registration is encouraged to ensure enough food, water, and tools. National Trails Day Registration Form 

Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

All volunteers should wear appropriate clothing such as work gloves, sturdy shoes or boots, and bring rain gear, if needed. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own drinking water; the parks department will provide the necessary tools.
