The Canoe Journey Herbalists are providing herbal medicine to indigenous folks all along 2018 Tribal Canoe Journeys.
YWCA invites you to join us as we “adopt a remedy” for the Canoe Journey Herbalists with two medicine making workshops at YWCA. No experience necessary. Everything will be supplied. Come one day, come both days.
Canoe Journey Herbalists are providing herbal medicine to indigenous folks all along Canoe Journey. The project is:
-Creating access to traditional medicine for indigenous people
-Honoring traditional knowledge keepers within POC communities
-Supporting efforts by and for community members to access their healing plant medicines and teachings
-Creating meaningful ways for allies to engage in supporting Indigenous People through Medicine Making.
