Marshall Middle School presents: Once Upon a Mattress

Marshall Middle School presents Once Upon a Mattress, a hilarious musical retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Princess and the Pea.

No one in the kingdom is allowed to get married until Prince Dauntless finds a princess to marry. With his mother, Queen Aggravain, testing all the candidates for a suitable bride, it seems no one will ever be good enough. The leading knight of the land, Sir Harry, hopes to one day marry his beloved Lady Larken. He sets off on a quest to find a princess for Dauntless. When Harry returns with the quirky and outspoken Princess Winnifred, the Wizard and the Queen devise a plan to test Winnifred.

Will Princess Winnifred pass the Queen’s test? Will Prince Dauntless find his princess? Will Sir Harry and Lady Larken be able to marry?

The show runs at Capital High School’s Theatre one weekend only with four performances:
Thursday, May 19 at 7:00 pm
Friday, May 20 at 7:00 pm
Saturday, May 21 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm
All tickets are $6 online at seatyourself.biz and at the box office. Children 4 and under are free at the box office only. All proceeds benefit Marshall Middle School Students.
