Maria Joyner-Wulf Septet returns to present a night of high-energy jazz, fusion, and funk. The group will be playing her original arrangements and songs from the Yellowjackets, Steps Ahead, Tower of Power, and Roberta Flack.
Special guests will include Dave Broyles on guitar and Shane Wulf, Tony Dorough, and Chollee Gladney-Schrandt on vocals. Don’t miss out on this night of great music.
Maria Joyner-Wulf is an in demand drummer and music educator in the Northwest. In addition to adjudicating jazz festivals and performing up and down I-5 she directs the Seattle Women’s Jazz Orchestra and teaches jazz and improvisation at South Puget Sound Community College.
