On Friday, July 12th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm you can join us in trying the craft of needle felting with an adorable dragonfly project. This project is intended for children ages 10 and up as well as adults and does use sharp needles. There will be art supplies available to entertain younger children as well.
The wonderful Suquamish based company Woolpets is the brainchild of Laurie & Steve Sharp. In 2001, Laurie Sharp began a home preschool and she learned needle felting as a way to make soft, wooly animals for storytelling with the children. Since then their Woolpets kits have been delighting children and adults throughout Washington and beyond.
