The music series on the lawn of the State Capital Museum begins this Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 6:30 PM.

The concert brings Olympia’s great family down-home band Fiddlie- I-Ay featuring Maggie, Ruby, Eric and Emily Neatherlin-Teachout joined by some friends, for a wonderful folk music evening at the museum.

August 15 brings renowned flutist Gary Stroutsos to the museum whose career features music as far ranging as Jethro Tull to Afro Cuban sounds and the haunting sounds and stories of Native America.  An international recording artist, composer, performing artist, ethnomusicologist, and educator, Gary will perform the music and stories from the home of the Navajo, Canyon de Chelly.
