National Learn to Row Day
June 2 is national “Learn to Row Day”. In Thurston County this event is sponsored by the local rowing club, Olympia Area Rowing (OAR). Anyone interested in learning about rowing as a fun, physical activity on the water, is invited to a FREE demonstration with a short tour of the OAR boathouse, and a practice on lower Budd Inlet, with an experienced crew and instructor. You must register in person on the day of the event. More information available on the OAR website below. What a great way to get on the water, and exercise at the same time!
