Join volunteers and staff from the Lacey Parks and Recreation Department one Saturday a month at the Lake Lois Habitat Reserve to remove invasive plants that are choking out the native plant understory in the reserve.
Individuals, families, or groups are welcome. Groups are encouraged to pre-register so that enough tools are available. Lake Lois Remove Ivy Days Registration Form
Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
All volunteers should wear appropriate clothing such as work gloves, sturdy shoes or boots, and bring rain gear, if needed. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own drinking water; the parks department will provide the necessary tools. There are no restrooms in the habitat reserve.
