Kids Love Comics Day

The Olympia Timberland Library teams up with Danger Room Comics to celebrate comics and the kids who love them. 

Special guest cartoonists Dana Simpson (“Phoebe and Her Unicorn”) and Barry Deutsch (“Hereville”) will talk about their work and sign books. Danger Room Comics will provide books for sale. Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite comic book characters.

Schedule:

• 10 a.m.-2 p.m. — Drop in Comic Strip Studio – Create your own comic

• 2-2:30 p.m. — Comic Book Reader’s Theatre with Frank Hussey (Danger Room Comics)

• 2:30-3:45 p.m. — Barry Deutsch and Dana Simpson present

• 3:45-5 p.m. — Book signing, meet-and-greet
