Are You Reggae? JustUs Productions is proud to Present International Reggae Superstar Sister Carol in a benefit for Media Island and our Eagles Kitchen Fund. It will take place in the Eagles Ballroom 805 4th Ave E, on Saturday, February 18th. Doors and Food- 7 PM – DJ Music 7:30 PM, Live Reggae Rock with Swayze Train- 8:00 Sister Carol promptly at 10 PM. Music goes all night long! The local group Swayze Train will open this dance event with plenty of original Reggae Rock! There will be a 21+ Beer Garden sponsored by Media Island International. This will be another Family Friendly All-Ages Dance event you will not want to miss! There will be high quality food for sale, DJ music before, during and after the live music.

Sister Carol was born Carole Theresa East, January 15, 1959, in Kingston Jamaica. She is also known as the “Black Cinderella” and “Mother Culture”. Sister Carol sings in the richest voice imaginable with conviction and passion. The band is pure “Roots Style” with heavy bass, strong guitar leads and fast paced drumming.

Her odyssey began in the ghetto of Denham Town, Kingston in the midst of the exploding Jamaican music scene and has grown to become one of Jamaica’s top entertainers and a Global Icon. Her prolific music career includes over 12 albums/CD’s, a Grammy nomination for “Best Reggae Album” in 1997, “Most Outstanding Reggae Artist” two consecutive years 1997 and 1998, and “Queen of Reggae” in 2000 in Music Magazine. She is a renowned DJ, humanitarian, school teacher and mother.
