Homeschool Workshops / Every 2nd & 3rd Friday of the Month, 2:30-5pm
Explore a new theme each month in these two-part workshops that include hands-on learning experiences, cooperative group activities, and connected museum play. These workshops are a perfect enhancement for homeschool and public school curriculum. For ages 6-11. Register online or call 360-956-0818 x103! Member child: $25 per session, non-member child: $30 per session. Get 10% when you register for 4 or more sessions.
- Oct. 11 & 18: Colorful Chemistry – Learn how to make a polymer rainbow in a test tube, create a PH indicator with cabbage juice and grow atomic glow worms!
- Nov. 8 & 15: Space Exploration – Join the space exploration team and design and test landing systems. Create moon maps and build your own Mars Rovers!
- Dec. 13 & 20: Mess Fest – Change liquid and solids into non-Newtonian Fluids, marbleize paper using shaving foam, and make magnetic putty. Dress for mess!
