High School’s premier vocal ensemble will sing at the Tumwater library at 6 p.m. on Dec. 12
Welcome the season with the holiday music of the Tumwater High School vocal ensemble, “The Noteables,” performing a mini concert of entirely a capella music featuring a variety of traditional and jazz-infused holiday selections.
The concert will be at the Tumwater Timberland Library on Thursday, December 12 from 6 to 6:40 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Tumwater Timberland Library. The program is after library hours.
The Noteables are the premier vocal ensemble at Tumwater High School. Students participate in a rigorous audition process to join. The group performs a variety of music with a focus on jazz, musical theater and pop styles. “We look forward to spreading holiday cheer at the Tumwater library branch,” said Rachel Landowski, the Noteables’ music director.
Noteables serve as ambassadors for Tumwater High School and its Choir program. The ensemble has many performing engagements in the community including the Tumwater Christmas Tree Lighting, Holiday Music Festival at the Department of Labor and Industries, Worker Memorial at Department of Labor and Industries, Junior League of Olympia Holiday Party and many more.
