Historical Holiday Celebration
Celebrate the holidays in the beautifully decorated 1923 Lord Mansion, home of the Capital Museum. Have your picture taken with Santa by the grand Christmas tree and take home a free photograph as a special memento. Families will enjoy a petting zoo on the museum grounds, complete with pony rides and small farm animals. Renowned cut paper artist Nikki McClure leads snowflake making with children from 12 – 1pm, and signs copies of her books and calendar from 1 – 2pm. Also planned are a musical sign-along at 2pm and free electric trolley rides through the historical neighborhood. Crafts and cookie decorating too!
